Tollund Man
- The Tollund ManThe Tollund Man is probably the most well-preserved body from pre-historic times in the world. The head was almost shockingly well-preserved. The eyes were closed and so was the mouth - the look on his face was calm and solemn as if he was just sleeping....
- Tollund ManThe story of Tollund Man is like that of many of the other “bog people” discovered in the peat bogs of Northern Europe. His remains were uncovered in 1950 by villagers in the town of Tollund, Denmark, who were gathering peat for fuel.
