Step 2: Locating your sources

Now you need to identify where to find information for your task. Apply your keywords and/or phrases from the Defining step to help refine your searching.

When searching you will need to find the most valid and authoritative sources for your task. Use the checklist and infographic to help you evaluate your sources. 

 Tip: It is best to use a range of sources to cross reference the information and determine the validity.
